Hailing from Virginia and now based in Los Angeles, Nate Shaw specializes in complex full CG animation including characters, environments, FX, camera direction, motion capture, and facial performance. He’s passionate about working from storyboards and previs to final image, especially on fun and goofy projects.

Notable work includes a personal project, a full CG dancing reverse mermaid that hit Reddit’s front page with 8 million views in a week, along with Destiny 2 Cinematics (Lightfall, Final Shape Teaser and Reveal), upcoming Marathon Cinematics, Reese’s Big Cup Lava Super Bowl TVC, E*TRADE Baby, Pepsi snowmen shorts, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, San Andreas, and more. Previous collaborations include Bungie, Erich & Kallman, and Randy Krallman.
